How Can I Develop the Law of Attraction Ability?

Good question, right?

I mean, who wouldn’t want to know how to develop the law of attraction ability in order to attract whatever they want in life!

But there’s a little problem here with this question that is not noticeable at first...

What is that?

The premise of the question is a little off but at the same time, it offers valuable insight too…

“How so,” you ask?

This title question makes it appear that the law of attraction is something that works for some, and not for others – as if you get to turn the law of attraction on or off.

It suggests that the law of attraction is something that some people get to use, and others do not...

But that’s not how it works...

The point is that the law of attraction is just like gravity – it works all the time, whether you want it to or not.

How do I get the law of attraction to work?

This title question is very similar to the question that many people ask, which is, “How do I get the law of attraction to work?

The answer is, you don’t “get it to work” because it’s working all the time... It’s a universal law that is unchangeable.

This slight difference in understanding may help you quite a bit!

So, if that question is a little off, what should the question be?

A slightly more accurate question is, “What can I do in order to attract whatever I want in life?” Or, “How can I leverage the power of the law of attraction to my benefit?

But these title questions are a bit too long for an article!

These are very similar questions, but the slight difference in understanding can make all the difference in the world...

The point is this...

You attract the good, the bad, and the ugly via the law of attraction because it’s always working...

But let’s answer these questions with a step-by-step format so that we can take the mystery out of what you can do in order to get what you want in life through the law of attraction...

Stop all negative thinking law of attraction

STEP 1: Stop All Negative Thinking

Remember, the law of attraction works all of the time, for all of us.

It never discriminates...

It never takes sides...

It doesn’t care what your political affiliation is, or how rich or poor you are. And it also doesn’t even really care if you are a good person or a “bad” person.

What does it care about?

How you feel.

That’s it! That’s all that matters…

It’s very simple...

For example, when you feel negative emotion, FOR ANY REASON, via the law of attraction, you will attract negative people, experiences, circumstances and events to MATCH that negative feeling.

Follow this process if you plan to undo a negative manifestation.

And not only that, but also, we live in a “yes-based” universe, so whatever you give your attention to, you attract.

For example, if you give your attention to war by standing up against it, and you shout, “No more war!” the universe hears “yes” to it...

Why?

Because you focused on war... It doesn’t matter if you are for or against it...

This is precisely why Mother Theresa said that she would NEVER march against war, but that she would march for peace...

So, getting upset about anything activates the law of attraction and gives you more of what you do not want!

That’s why we say that it’s always working.

In other words, the things that you are against get activated even more by your negative attention to them.

This is why it is so important to stop all negative thinking…

Of all of the steps, this is probably the most important one. But it’s not easy! Once you have developed the habit of thinking negative thoughts about different things, it will take a while to slow the momentum of it down and turn it around…

It’s sort of like trying to stop a train – if you stopped a train all of the sudden, the contents of it wouldn’t do very well!

So, go easy on yourself and slowly stop thinking negative thoughts.

Here is a quick list of additional things to stop doing:

  • Stop watching the news (if you can).
  • Stop arguing with people (again, if you can!).
  • Stop beating yourself up about anything.
  • Stop looking for reasons to hate or to be a victim.

Stop judging others no matter who they are.

Stop arguing for your limitations.

Of course, you don’t want to go hide in a cave and avoid the world so that you won’t see anything negative.

And yes, sometimes we can’t avoid things like what is in the news, and negative people.

But the truth is that via the law of attraction, the more that you can avoid these negative things and people, the less that you will experience them in your life.

That’s how it works.

That’s the law of attraction in action…

Now that we’ve covered what NOT to do, let’s get into what TO DO...

Meditation Improve law of attraction ability

Step 2: Meditate

If you really want to leverage the power of the law of attraction quickly, meditation is one of the primary things to do.

Why?

Because it will help you to stop all thought for a brief period of time.

60.000 Thoughts a day

The late Dr. Dyer used to say that we all have roughly 60,000 thoughts every single day. And that most of those thoughts are not positive ones!

This is why he was such an advocate for meditation. Meditation helps us to stop thought. It raises your vibration (in other words, helps you to feel better), helps you to focus, and aligns you with who you really are.
What does it mean to “align yourself with who you really are?”

The truth is that you are a powerful, spiritual being having a human existence, and not the other way around. So, aligning yourself with who you really are is actually step 1 – it’s stopping all negative thoughts about yourself, life, and others, etc.

Why?

Because who you really are is magnificent, and only hindered by your own negative thoughts of self-doubt, disbelief, and other negative thoughts.

In other words, your natural state of being is awesomeness! And when you successfully stop doing all of those things that you do that hinder yourself from being yourself, then the real you will shine through...

Here is a very quick explanation of how to meditate:

Find a place where you will not be disturbed for 30 minutes or so.

Get a timer.

Darken the room and/or use an eye-mask.
Sit in a comfortable chair, start the timer for 20 minutes, and close your eyes.

Focus on a constant sound in the room like a fan, a ticking clock, or even rain outside.

Attempt to stop all thought, but don’t fight it if and when thoughts come in.

Allow yourself to float or feel numb – that simply means it’s working.

Once you start to get that floating, numb feeling, then allow thoughts to flow in.
After the timer goes off, right down your thoughts.

Don’t worry if you think you didn’t do it right. And don’t worry if you don’t get that numb, floating feeling at first. It will come with time.

Also, follow the thoughts and the impulse that you get after getting that floating, numb feeling. That is really your inner-being talking to you.

Another point is, don’t beat yourself up for doing it wrong.

Embracing the contrast law of attraction

Step 3: Embrace the Contrast

Without contrast, there would be no photo...

And by experiencing things in your life that you DO NOT WANT, you are then much more clear about what it is that you DO WANT.

Contrast, in this context, means the things in your life that you do not like or want.

It’s all of the stuff that you don’t like.

Embracing the contrast simply means to not push against it – to see it for what it is – to value it.

Life is full of a variety of things. It’s sort of like going to a buffet dinner and deciding what it is that you want...

If you don’t like asparagus or broccoli, then don’t put it on your plate!

You wouldn’t get mad at the food that you do not want for being there! You’d simply focus on what it was that you do want and choose that...

Life is very similar to this analogy...

We get to choose. And one bite of asparagus can help you to define what it is that you do want!

So, embrace the contrast of life. If, for example, you ever get into a bad relationship, get out, and use the contrast of that relationship to further define and align yourself with someone much better for you.

It’s that simple.

Step 4: Choose to Feel Good!

One of the tenets to the law of attraction is that the most important thing that you can do to attract what you want is to choose to feel good…

“But that just seems too lazy” some think.

Or, “That just seems too easy!” others say.

Or, “Isn’t it more complicated than that?”

Nope. It’s not…

As matter of fact, this entire article could be summed up in these two words – “feel good!”

Does it matter what you feel good about?

In other words, do you have to feel good about the huge things in your life that matter the most?

The surprising answer to this is, no...

It doesn’t matter what you feel good about – all that matters is that you feel good.

You could have ten things going on in your life, and nine of them going wrong, but if you only focused on that one thing that was going right, all of the other nine things would soon be going right too.

The opposite of that is true too, and this is why it is so important to choose to focus on what is going right.

So, does this mean that you can throw caution to the wind, and do things like, go out and buy things that you cannot afford?

Well, how would you feel afterward if you over spent?

Not good, right?

So, don’t do that! Do the things that truly feel good...

Be good to yourself. Do more things that will help you to feel good. Take more walks. Get more massages. Go ride a bike, walk, hike, run, jog, or even go pet your cat or dog.

Doing things that help you to raise your vibration and feel good is absolutely key to attracting what you want in life.

See how simple this is?

The point is this…

Life is supposed to be fun. You’re supposed to be enjoying the delicious journey of life in every single moment.

And the law of attraction is constantly reading your vibration in every single moment…

Not only is it reading it in every moment, but it’s responding to it too.

So, choose to feel good no matter what is going on in your life. In other words, ignore reality! More on that now...

Step 5: Ignore Reality!

Let’s use a good example in order to help make this point…

Many years ago, psychologist Viktor Frankl was living in a concentration camp. He was handed a bowl of soup that only had the head of a fish in it...

Now, that reality is pretty bad, right?

But Mr. Frankl found beauty in the head of that fish, and he found thankfulness and appreciation within his heart.

Soon after, he was released from the concentration camps and lived to talk about this.

Others who have ignored reality and who have found higher vibrational feelings within their hearts have done well for themselves too.

You don’t have to ignore everything in your life!

Only ignore that part of your reality that you don’t like, of course...

Wouldn’t you like to have unshakable confidence in who you are and where you are going? And don’t you like the idea of never giving away your own power to anyone ever again?

And don’t you have a much more powerful feeling within yourself right now knowing how it really works?

Think of it...

If you use this advice, no longer does anyone ever have the power anymore to get you upset, mad or angry.

If you ignore reality and focus on feeling good no matter what, no matter what others do to you to make you feel bad, it won’t work. They are powerless over you forever more...

And since the law of attraction responds to your every thought and feeling, when you master this, you’ll never again get yourself into a situation where what others say or do upsets you.

This is a powerful concept that once you embrace, will forever change your life...

Don’t ever underestimate the power that you have within yourself to create your own reality…

Conclusion

In summary, the law of attraction is real and works for everyone and everything. You cannot turn it off if you wanted to.

But once you fully understand how it works and why it works, you can then leverage the power of the law of attraction to your advantage.

This article could have explained everything with these two words, “feel good!”

And even the “bad stuff” that happens in your life, the contrast, is valuable because it helps you define what it is that you want in life...

There are many tools out there to use in order to feel better and to align yourself with who you really are, but meditation is probably the best one.

And by ignoring reality, you are then able to create a new one that you really like!
