The law of attraction refers to your thoughts being the motivation for the behavior you choose to implement into your life.
For instance, if you believe your life is worthless and no opportunities exist for you, you will give up on life and not exert any type of positive effort. Your negative thinking influences you to be lazy, unmotivated, and choose the option of wasting your life away.
Positive Thinking
On the other hand, if you believe your life is full of opportunities, you will work hard to turn opportunities into accomplishments. Your positive thinking influences you to be ambitious and goal-oriented.
Do you see how the difference in thoughts pushes your life in different directions?
People will say that their life is unfair because all they catch is bad breaks, but all they attract is bad energy.
Choosing Your Thoughts
You can’t hope for positivity in your life, while secretly believing nothing will change in your life. You are negating positive energy to come into your life because you don’t operate to attract positive opportunities.
Do you have a friend who is always complaining about their life and how everything is so unfair for them? They are miserable and most times too unbearable to be around. Being around them makes you miserable.
This is because negative energy literally drags the life out of a person. You being in contact with that person affects your ability to think positive thoughts because their negative energy suffocates you.
That is why people who understand the power of thoughts and energy only choose to surround themselves with positive people.

Unfortunately, many of us aren’t aware of the importance of our thoughts.

When the law of attraction is understood, you are more careful about who and what is allowed to share your energy.
If your goal is to be successful in life, you don’t surround yourself with average people.
You choose to surround yourself with successful people because their energy is a positive reinforcement for your own energy.
You will notice that wealthy people only befriend other wealthy people. This is because they each understand the lifestyle of one another, so they don’t have to downplay their wealth.
The law of attraction places you around people you are comfortable with, or those whose lifestyle you want to emulate.
For example, an entrepreneur who wants to be successful will place themselves in the company of successful entrepreneurs, or seek the mentorship of successful entrepreneurs.
This is because they want to understand how these successful entrepreneurs think and operate – soaking up the knowledge that they can apply themselves.
Notice the word apply was bolded.
Thoughts without actions applied to them are nothing but dreams
You can’t just think success but not apply the actions that produce success while still hoping for successful results – it’s not possible.
Whatever your desire in life is, you have to make it an obsession in your mind. Once this obsession takes hold in your mind, it will ignite your drive to satisfy your given obsession.
Let’s use a drug addict for example. Once they partake in their first drug experience, they are hooked on the feeling of that initial high.
Their resulting drug consumption is driven by their need to feel that first high they experienced. They will do anything to partake in drug use because their mind is consumed with the thoughts of fulfilling their obsession.
Let’s say that your desire is wealth. You are tired of being broke and not being able to experience all that life has to offer.
You study the habits of wealthy people and discard all the bad new habits that created your mediocre lifestyle.
You set goals of progression that gradually build upon one another to achieve the wealth that you desire.
All your friends that don’t want better out of life, you cut off.
You don’t want anything to inhibit your ability to produce a wealthy lifestyle.
Do you see how obsession fuels the law of attraction?
Whatever it is that you truly desire takes control of all your thoughts and actions. The thoughts, actions, and energy that you put out into the atmosphere are magnified and reciprocated back to you.
What have been the results of using the Law of attraction?

What he discovered is that successful people attracted success because they believed 100% in their ability to produce success.

They understood if they thought anything negative, it would destroy the vision they held of their future.
If you ask any successful person how they become successful. There answer would be that they had no other choice. Success was the only option available to them.
You can analyze the background of successful people, and what you will realize is that many successful people come from meager or broken backgrounds.
Their desire to live a better life is what drove them out of a life of poverty and into a life of prosperity.
How you can apply “quote” the law of attraction to change your life.
Your thoughts extend beyond your brain. They reflect the lifestyle that you live. If you want a better life, you will need to implement the thoughts and actions that help you you transform your life.
Here’s how you can use the law of attraction:
- Write out the vision for your desired lifestyle in detail.
- Create daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly goals that work towards achieving your vision.
- Make your desired vision an obsession – think about it when you wake up, during the day, and before you go to sleep.
- Change your environment – only surround yourself with positive energy that reinforces your positive energy
- Challenge yourself to step out of your comfort zone in order to attract more opportunities to yourself

Now that you know what the law of attraction is and how it works, apply it to your life. The only person who can move your life forward or hold it back is yourself.

The law of attraction really works for people who are committed to learn and apply what they learn over a period of time.
The capacity of your thinking to result is not restricted to thoughts that exist only in your mind.
