When I was a teenager, my grandmother told me about a Russian scientist who seemed to have the ability to influence other people’s behavior by tapping into their subconscious minds.
The Raikov Effect was created in the 1960’s and 1970’s by Russian neuropsychologist Dr. Vladimir Raikov.
It is a technique that can be described as putting on an act and performing like you’ve already achieved your goal until you achieved it.
The Raikov Effect Program, also known as manufactured hypnosis, is a popular made-up hypnosis method, similar to placebo effect.
Put another way, the individual may do what his target has done or imagine himself as the intended victim.
We’ll look at what the Raikov effect entails in this post.

What Is the Raikov Effect?
The Raikov Effect is not law of attraction, but is rather a mind-power technique that allows users to think and believe someone else. The Raikov Effect was designed by the legendary neuropsychologist Dr. Vladimir Raikov in the 1960s to enable individuals to assume the role of another person. This procedure was intended to heal any detrimental influence on the subconscious mind and enhance his ability. To achieve this, Raikov developed seven methods in his initial concept. Yet, researchers have modified these original concepts over time, creating a new Raikov Effect. The theory of planned behavior was developed to explain how five distinct steps influence one’s action.
What Are the Raikov Effect’s Seven Original Techniques?
In his study, Dr. Raikov combined seven components to assist his participants to see themselves as they wished to be. These seven factors, when implemented, helped the subject do a specific activity at an exceptional level. The following are the seven elements:
- Hypnosis and Deep Trance. Hypnosis is a type of mental stimulation in which the subject becomes absorbed in a relaxed, drowsy state. Raikov used this phase to achieve his experimentally verified results for his test persons. Here, the mind’s willpower is suppressed to prevent any unpleasant events. The goal here is to concentrate on whatever you want to achieve throughout the process. The individual must focus on what he wants to do. Any disruption in concentration may not result in the intended outcome. As a result, hypnosis is required.
- Relaxation. Another crucial aspect of the Raikov Effect is relaxation. Here, Raikov ensured that the subject was in a deep state of rest. As a result, the issue was at ease and ready to receive any required information. Performing breathing exercises is one practical approach for achieving this. To begin, the experiment subject must be placed in a quiet and calm setting. He may use this time to shut out the world and focus on himself by remaining in a peaceful environment. As a result, he enters into a trance condition that activates your subconscious mind. You have access to talk with your subconscious mind now to go on to the next step.
- Visualization. The trigger of all phases is visualization. Its influence on their performance varies. It imagines the people performing what they want to do. The subject must have a goal for visualization to take place. Is he thinking of Mozart or Rembrandt? Or is he trying to enhance a particular aspect of his life? One notable distinction between how to visualize (visualization) and other methods is that the subject must be someone the user can see. Having a target to aim for makes the job much more straightforward. Why? He is compelled to behave in a certain way owing to subconscious persuasion. As a result, he performs each activity since he sees himself performing it thousands of times.
- Suggestion. The subjects’ minds may be shaped in some ways, one of which is through recommendations. Suggestions occur due to the subject’s and his mind’s communication. How does visualization work? The subconscious part of the mind is influenced by visualization to provide fresh ideas to the topic. The term “suggestions” is used to describe these new concepts. Suggestions allow the individual to create ideas that will impact his life. The subjects understand what to do, when to do it, and how to do it with suggestions. It puts the individual’s thoughts on a particular path, allowing them to imagine and reflect on the lessons learned from that person’s life. As a result, they become more like individuals, including their abilities.
- Positive Thinking. Negative ideas are the results of accessing the negative subconscious mind. That, yet, may change once the suggestion stage has ended. Why? Having the subject consider who he wants to influence his pessimistic thinking. The good subconscious mind continues to shape the undesirable subconscious mind after receiving more positive suggestions. As time goes on, the conscious mind, which impacts the subject’s life, is modified by these positive ideas.
- Belief. Another step in Raikov’s success was his use of faith. He urged his audience to believe that their ideas would become a reality. This is only possible as a consequence of the preceding stages. The phases affected the participants by encouraging them to have confidence in their goals.
- Modeling. In modeling, the subject projects his conduct onto the intended person. This is done to provide a thorough and whole procedure.
Is It Effective to Follow the Original Teaching?
Yes. The tried-and-true procedures were used on the researched individuals Raikov experimented with. It gave them a significant edge because they didn’t have to go through years of study and practice as the targeted persons did. They could imagine themselves as the target and thus see the world through their eyes, realizing their objectives. Furthermore, the methods awakened latent abilities, unleashed them appropriately, and made them accessible by tapping into dormant brain areas. To put it another way.
Who Were the Subjects the Techniques Were Applied To?
Apply the technique: Raikov tested his methods on college students to show the strength of his approach. He hypnotized the youngsters by telling them they were brilliant historical geniuses. An art student’s gender was revealed to be a female physics student, which Raikov was persuaded to be the renowned painter – Raphael. Because of this, the lady could produce incredible sketches very quickly. Her professors were shocked by her papers because of her unique ability. She continued to practice throughout art sessions and created various works, including the painting “Raphael, 1590.” One remarkable thing about the lady is that she had no interest in art before Raikov convinced her. His conviction pushed her to continue with her creative path.
Another Raikov experiment was on a musician from the Moscow Conservatory of Music before an audience. When the student first began to play, he performed poorly and had little interest in his performance. Another example was a lady student who was convinced to be Sergei Rachmaninoff, a chess player, mathematician, and other disciplines. Yet, when Raikov proved him with the assurance that he was the renowned Fritz Kreisler, he delivered an excellent show for the crowd. Another instance is a female student who believed herself to be Sergei Rachmaninoff, a chess player and mathematician besides other subjects.
What is the New Raikov Effect?
Raikov’s original approach was a fantastic innovation that resulted in more favorable outcomes. But new researchers developed innovative methods to achieve similar results over time. As a result of this, the current Raikov Effect emerged. The new Raikov Effect is a unique blend of the original processes and innovative approaches. It’s quicker, easier, and more pleasant than before. Also, this new effect does not use the original seven elements. In its place, a modified five-step process was introduced to take its place. The lack of hypnosis or deep trance is another example. These five stages help the examined person to focus better develop essential abilities. Also, enhance their intellect, and receive eternal advantages. These five elements include:
- Visualization. Your mind creates mental pictures when you imagine things. It’s the capacity to envision scenarios that result in real-world outcomes. It happens for no apparent cause. The brain allows the subject to develop and execute mental images into reality. It is not just an organ; it is a tool that helps the mind achieve its goals. So, how does visualization work, exactly? Having a plan is one method to meet visualization. The subjects are kept focused on their objectives by having a goal. Regardless of the many images that enter one’s head, the aim links them all to a logical conclusion. Do they want to complete a mission, enhance a talent, or try to be like someone? It all comes down to the aim and how they envision themselves accomplishing it.
- Changing Heads. Another crucial step in the Raikov Effect is changing heads. It entails replacing the head of the targeted individual, who is usually a prodigy. This technique forces the subject to believe they can think like and act like the target. This method requires the subject to be able to picture things. After envisioning the genius, you may have a clear vision of what you want to learn from them. To understand genius, you must first be aware of it. You might read a book or listen to podcasts to learn more about them. The more you know about them, the more you want to be like them or achieve their level of excellence. This allows you to reap several advantages, including increased skill, recognizing an issue, gaining insights into a previously unknown area, and so on.
- The “As If” Technique. Another approach for achieving the Raikov Effect is to use the “As If” technique. In the 20th century, American psychologist William James popularized this idea, demonstrating how people’s feelings and actions are linked. People could act as if they were overwhelmed by a feeling before that feeling has even arrived. Instead of waiting for the emotion to strike, they could engage in behavioral rituals to seem overwhelmed by it. If you adopt a confident appearance, other people will view you more powerful. This implies that by assuming a posture, you will feel more powerful. As a result of this altered mentality, your actions change. How is it possible for the brain to handle this? According to research, the mind is built to believe so. Because the brain cannot tell between imagination and reality, one might push it to get a message. As a result, you don’t have to wait for something to make you happy before you are genuinely excited. Instead, you may act as if you’re glad to be genuinely happy. This technique has been found to adapt and recreate positive emotions such as happiness, confidence, optimism, bravery, determination, motivation, and many more.
- NLP and Anchors. NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) is a method for examining how people achieve success through their thoughts, feelings, words, actions, etc. This idea is linked to modeling in the original approach. Here, researchers look at successful individuals in a particular field to learn how they meet success. Then, they use the process on people of other areas to get them there. This is achieved by using specially-designed equipment such as anchoring, reframing, and future pacing. These procedures assist in changing the subject’s view to achieve favorable outcomes.
But anchors are one of specially-created equipment. It serves as a link between memories and their associated emotions or stimuli. It is a device that connects past events to a subject’s present sentiments. A smell, for example, is an example of such an event. Freshly baked bread might bring back memories of watching your mother in the kitchen when you smell it. Finally, it might remind you of the time you spent in the kitchen with your mother. For example, when you’re kneading dough and pouring batter into baking pans, this is what you’re doing. This is an anchor’s work. It places a physical experience on top of the memories connected with it.
The majority of the time, anchors are comprised of metal or plastic. Different types of anchors exist, and they are available in various shapes. Some examples are:
- Visual Anchor. Internal or external landmarks serve as anchor points. The picture you imagined in your mind or the thing you noticed in the world might be an example. An object must have the ability to evoke or arouse emotion in you to be considered an anchor. A person, a landscape, horizon, or mental image are all examples of anchors.
- Auditory Anchors. This includes noises that produce an emotional response or bring back memories. It might also inspire you to do anything in particular. For example, humming a favorite song or whistling may help you recall pleasant memories from the past. It’s possible to get caught up in a flow state if you repeat inspirational phrases to yourself frequently. Sentences such as “I’m getting stronger” might inspire someone.
- Kinesthetic Anchor. Tactile implies touching that elicits a sensation. It might be a tap on the shoulder, a massage, or any other kind of touch. These touches are utilized to induce a feeling that keeps one in a good mood. For example, a person may feel calmness or relief after getting a massage. You may increase your self-esteem, boost confidence, and change how you think and act with NLP. You’ll have access to many advantages as well, such as enhancing a skill, maintaining motivation, lowering stress, eliminating disbelief, remaking productivity, meditation and so on.
- Action. The Raikov Effect is achieved through the use of some methods. The fourth component, action, complete the process. This summarizes the preceding steps and demonstrates how effective they are. You put your planned skill into practice here, and then you continue to apply it to get the intended outcome.
