In  this post, we will looks how purpose driven business models can help you succeed.

  • Many factors can influence whether you’re wildly successful.
  • While others are struggling and ultimately shut down.
  • How can you get them to buy products from your company instead of your competition?

Starting and surviving in today’s competitive economy is hard but there are individuals who are doing a great job thriving.

A Purpose Driven Business

What I have found across the board regardless of niches, industry or size of the business is this:

thrive-in-business
Those who’ve figured out how to beat the competition and thrive in business are the people who have established a purpose driven business.

  • In other words, they are pursuing purpose and profits simultaneously.
  • Having a clear-cut purpose motivating you and your team will take you further than any amount of profit ever could.
  • Whether you are a solo entrepreneur, freelancer or small business owner, if you want to thrive, it’s time to infuse purpose in all your business engagements.

The key that will enable you to create a sustainable, scalable business that impacts lives and rewards you richly:

Although at first glance it sounds very whimsical and abstract, purpose is a vital key ingredient that will enable you to build a legacy that you can be proud of for years to come. It’s the unseen ever-present element that has been used by all praise worthy individuals whether in business, politics, and religion.

Even the greatest artists, inventors and scientists were driven by a sense of purpose not a craving for fame or fortune.

The Renaissance artist Michelangelo Buonarroti demonstrates it perfectly through this statement.

“I saw the angel in the marble and carved until I set him free.” Michelangelo.

It’s one of my favorite quotes and a classic example of an individual who was guaranteed of success and victory in his projects because of the mindset that motivated him to work on his art. He demonstrated the approach anyone can use on their chosen field.

And by the way, if you didn’t know this, Michelangelo was one of the richest Renaissance artists.

So if you were still skeptical about how strategic and profitable this purpose topic can be for you, – there is your proof!

Assuming you’re here because you want to play the long game and build a legacy that will outlive you and serve others beyond your immediate reach, here are 4 benefits you’ll get to enjoy once you make this shift.

This same rewarding lifestyle has become my experience as well and I have seen my coaching clients start to experience even more than what I mention here, once I helped them make the shift from a money driven business to a purpose driven business.

4 Ways you’ll benefit from making the switch to a purpose driven business:

1. Purpose driven businesses naturally magnetize the right clients

This means higher customer satisfaction, recurring revenue, and a higher client value.

Attraction marketing is something you’ll find most success gurus preaching. It’s learning to set up your business in such a way that enables the law of attraction to naturally do the work for you. Bringing in the right kind of client who will love and buy what you’re selling.

It takes out that horrible taste most of us have when we think of “selling” especially online. When you’ve clearly structured your business to serve a bigger purpose, you will automatically align with the law of attraction and attraction marketing will become the natural flow of things.

So, more clients will be chasing after you and knocking at your door instead of you desperately trying to get their attention.

I can recall a time in my life when this concept was still unknown to me. It was a struggle for me to find even one well-paying client. And even when I did find a client, they wouldn’t pay up! It was such a painful and traumatic experience chasing after people who didn’t want to keep their end of the deal.

A business cannot really survive if this is a recurring problem. In fact, back then, my businesses kept failing.
Suffice it to say that when I finally started running a purpose driven business, everything shifted for the better. It became my strategic starting point, my product differentiator and an organic attractor of the right customer and business partners.

2. Greater flow of creativity

Many creative entrepreneurs are struggling to create a sustainable business due to their fluctuations of energy and creativity.
Some days you can be loaded with lots of energy and creative ideas while other days you feel as barren as a desert, weak and exhausted like a released prisoner of war. And it can indeed feel like war. An inner war. Because your mind is unable to deliver on a consistent basis what you need to always stand out authentically.

The school system, unfortunately, was not set up to promote creativity in us and while that will slowly change over time, your job is to undo that damage individually. Setting up a business that you feel passionate about, one that serves a bigger picture than just meeting a quota is one of the best ways to create an atmosphere for you to express greater creativity.

The more creativity flows, the easier it will be to position your products and services in a unique and authentic way that helps you stand out and price yourself as a premium business.

Which naturally ties into the third benefit.

3. More money naturally comes.

Selling becomes easy to the point where you don’t even need to sell your clients anything, they demand it from you. This is where the true freedom lifestyle naturally unfolds.

Most freelancers and small business owners are aware that it is possible to create a profitable passion based business that isn’t salesy and scamy. A business that produces ever increasing income allowing you to work with whomever you want, whenever you want. But few are able to make it a reality simply because they approach it the wrong way.

If you want that freedom that our modern economy is making possible, you’ll have to ditch the traditional business paradigm that focused solely on numbers and sales psychology script and instead, develop a new business paradigm.

4. A purpose driven business will always foster holistic success.

This goes for you as well as your team or employees.

Increased sense of fulfillment, health, and stability in your business will become your norm. Money driven businesses are always under the tyranny of lack, worry, stress and unhealthy competition.

Lack of balance and time poverty is something many people feel stuck in today. If only they could be willing enough to shed some of those ancient paradigms around wealth and success, they could see how possible it is to attract and manifest a thriving life and business.

There has never been a more opportune time to create a business that fills your pocket and fulfills your soul simultaneously. With just a little knowledge and guidance, you too can begin to experience the joys of having a business that sells itself.

Conclusion:

In our current technology driven, rapidly evolving digital economy, successful businesses that will continue to thrive will not be those that are built from the ground up with perfect tactics but rather, those that are built from the purpose up.

Now I would like to hear your insights on what you feel your business needs this year to scale up and bring in more of the right high-value clients.
